- About Us
Student Council is a great platform for you to voice your concerns and vote on policies that make your time at UoW the best it can be!
It is made up of representatives from across our student leadership community. Any UoW student can attend the meetings and get involved, but it is our elected Officers, student group committee members and academic representatives who get a final vote on any policy decisions.
How often does Student Council run?
Student Council takes place four times a year, twice in Autumn and twice in Spring.
Who can attend Student Council?
Any member of UWSU can attend and speak at Student Council, and unless you've opted out of membership then that includes you!
The following sections of the UWSU community are voting members:
All sabbatical officers.
All part-time officers.
A representative from every affiliated student group.
All academic representatives.
All campaign team members.
