ELSA Westminster Society

ELSA (The European Law Students’ Association) is an international, independent, non-political, non-profit-making organisation run by and for students. At a national level, it is comprised of students and recent graduates who are interested in academic and personal excellence in addition to their studies at their universities. ELSA offers law students a perfect platform to develop their existing skills, acquire new skills and meet fellow students and legal professionals throughout the Europe.

ELSA is the world’s largest independent law students’ association with over 40 000 members who are spread across more than 300 law faculties throughout 43 countries in Europe. With the sponsorship from global law firms and renowned institutions like the Council of Europe, the International Bar Association and others, ELSA provides opportunities for international exchange, professional development and interpersonal skills enhancement. Members have the unique chance to improve their networking and personal skills by attending workshops, seminars and a wide range of competitions all over the world which will have a huge and positive impact upon their professional career.
