MAKE EVERY LAYER COUNT IN YOUR WINTER WARDROBE

Wearing layers and layers for winter? Think about where there is a cut on your sweater that could show the pattern on your t-shirt underneath. Or where you could add some pins to make the clothes more joint together. Maybe you could fold your sleeves to a different length or knot your shirt up… Let’s get creative!

1. Overlapping

Show off the design of your clothes. Denim with velvet, cashmere with a tweed coat, or a buttoned shirt with a long jacket. With layers, wearing different materials and designs can be relaxed.

Do you remember the colours from London Fashion Week’s street looks or being amazed by the fashion students with a visual bang on campus? Colours express. Wearing different shades is a way to show yourself.

2. Using accessories

A scarf is a simple way to ‘fashionista’ yourself. The piece of cloth easily adapts into different shapes for roles of fashion and keeps you warm. With lots of designs to choose from, there are even more possibilities to express yourself.

Pins and clips help the formation of fashion. By joining two ideas together - designs can be emphasized and exaggerated.

3. Get it twisty

The French Tuck is all about an artful drape. This simple technique can immediately elongate the body and add polish and grace to the outfit.

Fold your sleeves to a different length, or simply roll them to add texture. From tight to loose -  you can add it anywhere, with regular folding or a knot. It builds up a sense of space on your outfit and balances with the existing design.

Showing your personality through fashion can enhance the feeling of happiness and self-worth. With the styling ideas shown above, you can create a unique style.
