Celebrating the month of diversity

February is all about celebrations! This month we will be navigating through Asian heritage and exploring LGBTI+* history. We shall celebrate love between all as Valentine’s Day is only a couple of days away. For the V Day we are having a 2FOR1 offer on drinks at the Undercroft, so why don’t you celebrate love with your other half or your friends?

We have entered the Year of the Pig! Your VP Regent Sunny, VP Cavendish Gerald and BAME** Officer Lubaba have organised a series of events called "Your Identity: Navigating Through Asian Heritage" for you to celebrate the Asian Heritage Month. We are proud to be the most diverse Students Union in the UK. As such, the representation and celebration of our ethnic diversity is one of our priorities through months such as Black History Month and Asian Heritage Month. We hope to empower students to open up about their identity and heritage. You can find out more information on the upcoming events from here

Equally, we are proud to celebrate LGBTI+ History Month. LGBTI+ Society and your LGBTI Officer Shaik have planned various events to celebrate the month. The University of Westminster will be hosting the National Student Pride again this year from 22nd till 24th of February at Marylebone Campus.
