Venues Commercial Coordinator (Full Time)

Want to work at a University in the heart of Central London? The University of Westminster Students' Union is looking for Venues Commercial Coordinator to join its Business Development Team!

The University of Westminster Students' Union represents 19,000+ students based across campuses located in Central London and Harrow. It proudly champions being the most diverse institutions in the country with 169 different nationalities and students from across the world. 

Here at UWSU we have a growing commercial portfolio – the Business Development team is responsible for five commercial spaces across three different campuses, including a brand-new retail outlet in Central London. There are three venues offering a range of options from late night club events to a multifunction space that operates a Starbucks Proud to Serve. The Business Development team have made huge progresses in the last few years and it is an exciting time to work with us to develop our outlets even further. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic open minded Venue Coordinator, someone who can lead our commercial spaces towards operating at a high level. The post holder will be responsible for a team of student staff who they will support with training and supervision. The role will be split over two of our commercial spaces, The Undercroft in Harrow, a late-night club venue, and The Hideaway in Central London, a coffee shop / evening event space. We are on the hunt for someone who can work with us to ensure we are delivering outstanding customer service and care to our students whilst driving our spaces to deliver a surplus to the rest of the charity.

Sports Development Coordinator (Full Time)

Want to bring Sports and Physical Activity to the heart of Central London University? The University of Westminster Students' Union is looking for Sports Development Coordinator to join its Student Opportunities Team!

The University of Westminster Students' Union represents 19,000+ students based across campuses located in Central London and Harrow. It proudly champions being one of the most diverse institutions in the country with 169 different nationalities and students from across the world.

Here at UWSU we have a growing sport and physical activity provision – the Sports Development Coordinator is responsible for three main approaches to this provision, Participation, Competitive and elite Sport. The Union has seen significant investment in the past few years and as a result have had a 3G Pitch built and an indoor studio space for student sport. As a result of this investment UWSU took part in the writing of a strategy to ensure the best provision of sport and physical activity to our members. The strategy has recently been finished and the person who is successful in attaining this role will have the opportunity to drive the implementation. Westminster is an institution which is going places in university sport!

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and charismatic Sports Development Coordinator, someone who can lead our students towards competing at a high level as well as promoting participation sport to our members. The post holder will be responsible for a team of part time coaching staff and a student staff member who they will support with training and supervision. The role offers a unique chance to get students to benefit from sport and to support large numbers of people in getting physically active. The role is a great opportunity for anyone who cares deeply about the benefits of sports within a community.
