School Reps are the bridge between Course Reps and the UWSU Sabbatical Officers and represent the voice of thousands of students within their School. They collect feedback from Course Reps and Digital Rep and analyse it before working with the Head of School and the Students’ Union to make positive changes for students. School Reps also sit on some of the highest committees in the University and use their voice to create change across the whole University.

 

What benefits does the role bring?

 

• Being the lead voice of your entire School at University committees

• Develop skills in analysis, report writing, leadership, diplomacy and public speaking – all very important for your employability

• Help create policy change within your School and the University to improve the student experience

• Get paid a stipend twice a year on completion of short reports

Currently we are looking to recruit postgraduate School Reps in the following Schools: Architecture & Cities, Law, Life Sciences and Management & Marketing. You do not need to have been a Course Rep if you are postgraduate student and any relevant experience (voluntary or professional) should be outlined in your application.

Applicants will be then be shortlisted for a short video interview - this will be your chance to meet with representatives of the University and Students’ Union to find out a little more about the role, and see how you might fit into the team.
