Luby (president)

My name is Luby (obviously not my real name, hence the name on my personal page, it’s a nickname that’s stuck!). I am the Rock Soc president. I'm a first year Commercial Music student, based at Harrow Campus, and you'll be seeing a lot of me!

I'm hoping that the Rock Soc will make a big impact on the University of Westminster social scene; we have lots of social event currently being planned. My main interests in the wide and ever expanding genre that is rock are: metal, industrial, punk, ska and quite a bit more, but I’m always open to suggestions of up and coming acts, as well as those that have been around for a while.

As president my main job is making sure that you guys are having fun, so suggestions and ideas are always welcome, and if you want to take a more proactive role in the society then let us know!
 

Walnut (vice president)

My name is Chris but everyone calls me Walnut. There is a story behind it but way too long for me to bother saying here haha. Im a first year Genetics student (leave the geek jokes!) but I have already been here a year doing my foundation. I was so annoyed that there isnt any groups for us rockers and was well up for this society.
Ill be your vice president, basically helping Luby out and I'll be here for your suggestions and questions.
A bit about me... Im a drummer and currently learning guitar, big into death metal and most other forms of metal. Im also into punk and go to quite a few punk gigs in and about london.

Anyway invite your uni mates to the society and hopefully we could get a big group of us out for socials and the like!
