The environment and living green is something which is very important to me and the Students' Union. We can't forget about the well being of students either. I aim to put social responsibility and sustainability back on the map.

The Students' Union is engaged in a variety of environmental and community initiatives for students and staff with the University across all campuses.

Fairtrade
We are helping to support the world's poorest producers by providing Fairtrade products on campus. To find out more about how we are becoming an accredited Fairtrade university click here.

Recycling
Recycling facilities are provided on campus for students, staff and visitors. Take the time to separate recyclables from general waste and place them in the correct bin. The University has ambitious annual recycling targets and we will not be able to reach them without your support.

Sustainable travel
There are many sustainable ways to travel to, from and between campuses at the University of Westminster. Catch the Tube, a bus, walk or cycle. The University also provides facilities for staff and student cyclists at our campuses.
