Wassup everyone! I’m Tarik Mahri your UWSU President. It’s my job to represent the Union and the views of the students on University committees. However for 2011/12, I aim to put more money back into students’ pockets. I want to go beyond the ceremonial figurehead rhetoric of the past, and be the focal reference point for advice & tips on a host of issues affecting students. My prime concern is ‘finance’ as I believe it’s one of the biggest issues facing students, so watch out for my Vlogs (video blogs), tweets and Facebook posts online.

Hello students of Westminster! I am Jenny Chan your VP Activities and I’m afraid no, unfortunately I am not related to the legendary Jackie Chan!

I was a student, a ‘Fresher’ just like you and I came completely alone by myself! Don’t be afraid because every single student is in a similar boat to you. You have nothing to lose and keep in mind this is a fresh start for you! Re-invent yourself, be whatever you want to be! Get involved in everything, you have nothing to lose! Join a society or sports team and truly be part of Westminster University.

Vice President Education: Jamal Achchi
Hi my name is Jamal, I’m your Vice President Education. I graduated with a first in International Relations and Arabic and really enjoyed my student experience. I was active in the Global Ideas Society, chairing numerous debates. I am very passionate about education and improving the education this University offers.
