Student Oyster card
Students can save money on travelling around London by getting a Student Oyster card. The card gives you a 30% discount on weekly, monthly and annual tickets for travel on the Underground, buses and trains in London.
A Student Oyster card costs £10, and is valid for one academic year (September-June).
Applications for Student Oyster cards must be made online at the Transport for London website. You will need to pay with a credit/debit card and upload a photo when you apply for your card.
When your Student Oyster card expires and you're still continuing University next year, you'll need to apply for a new one.
It is important you check whether you are eligible for a Student Oyster card before you apply for it, as not all students will be eligible for a card.
